• Hsin Yun Yao - Ph.D. Student (2004-2010). Dr. Yao is now President of Tactile Labs Inc.

• Vincent Levesque - Ph.D. Student (2005-09). Dr. Levesque became a Post Doctoral Fellow at the SPIN Lab of the University of British Columbia.

• Gianni Campion - Ph.D. Student (04-09). Dr. Campion became postdoctoral fellow with the Robotics, Dynamics and Control research group at Boston University. He then moved to CAE Electronics Inc (Healthcare).

• Andrew H. Gosline - Ph.D. Student (04-09). Dr. Gosline became postdoctoral fellow with the Neuromuscular Control Lab at McGill (formely at SFU), then at Immersion Canada Inc. He is with the Robotics, Dynamics and Control research group at Boston University

• Mounia Ziat Post-Doctoral Fellow (2007-2008). Dr. Ziat moved to the Laurier Centre for Cognitive Neuroscience, Wilfrid Laurier University, Ontario, Canada.

• Hanifa Dostmohamed - M.Eng. Student (02-05). Ms. Dostmohamed has now joined medical school.

• Qi Wang - Ph.D. Student (02-07). Research Scientist at Garrett B. Stanley's Neural Coding Laboratory at the Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University.

• Yan Zhao - Honours Thesis Student (05-06). Ms. Yao has joined the Biomedical Engineering Department at Northwestern University as a graduate student.

• Omar Ayoub - M.Eng. Student (02-05). Mr. Ayoub has joined MicroSoft .

• Diana Garroway - M.Eng (02-04). Ms. Garroway is now working with SoftImage in Montreal.

• Seigo Harashima - Visitor from Industry from 2001 to 2004. Has now returned to Ricoh Company , Yokhama, Japan.

• Ian Sinclair - Visitor from Industry Fall 2002 and Winter 2003. Has now returned to MPB Technologies Inc.

• Juli Yamashita From the Skill Research Group , AIST, Japan - Spent 3 weeks with us in the fall 2002.

• Aline Bompas from the Laboratoire de Psychologie Experimentale , Paris - Spent 3 months with us in the fall 2002. She is now with the MPI for Biological Cybernetics

• Dingrong Yi - Ph.D. (98-02). Was research scientist at the Sunnybrook and Womens College Health Science Center in Toronto. She is teaching at the Chinese University of Hong Kong .

• Mohsen Mahvash - Ph.D. (99-02) Entrepreneur; founded a company called RealContact Inc. He is currently Post Doctoral Fellow at the John Hopkins University Haptic Exploration Lab .

• Timothee Doutriaux - Honours Thesis Student. (01). Was graduate student at the MIT Bizzi Lab then with the INRIA In Situ project and is now somewhere in New York City (I think).

• Erick Dupuis - Ph.D. (01) co-supervised with Prof. E. Papadopoulos (Nat. Univ. Athens, Greece) is (and was) with the Canadian Space Agency .

• Daniel Sidobre - was in sabbatical leave from LAAS , Toulouse, France. (00-01).

• Gabriel Robles De La Torre - Post Doctoral Fellow (99-01). He is the founder of the International Society for Haptics.

• Christine Desmarais - Honors Thesis (97). She went on as Rhodes Scholar , Rhodes Scholar to Oxford, then was with CAE Electronics , Montreal Canada, and is now with Prof. A. M Smith of the Departement de Physiologie Universite de Montreal.

• Farrokh J. Sharifi - Post-Doc ((97-(98). He now is teaching at the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering , Ryerson Polytechnic University, Toronto.

• Julie Payette - Ph.D. Student (95-On leave). She is now the Chief Astronaut for the Canadian Space Agency and participated in Mission STS-96.
