Coral Challenge Dataset

The Coral Challenge Dataset contains images of coral reefs taken by the amphibious Aqua robot. To facilitate the training of automatic coral detectors, the dataset contains positive examples consisting of cropped out image patches containing corals. Negative examples are images that contain no coral. The training set contains 416 positive and 701 negative examples; the test set contains 492 positive and 1544 negative examples. The images are taken at three nearby but distinct locations off the western cost of Barbados.
