  • 2014-12-02: Today's office hours have been cancelled. If you want to meet with me tomorrow, please send me an e-mail. I will be available after 1:p.m. On Wednesday and all day on Thursday.
  • 2014-11-13: The code for Assignment 5, a5.zip, has been updated. It is a minor change, more details on myCourses.
  • 2014-11-13: Assignment 5 is up.
  • 2014-11-13: You should have received an e-mail about course evaluations in Minerva. Please fill it out! The results of the second survery are here here.
  • 2014-10-19: The deadline for A3 is now Sunday October 26th at midnight.
  • 2014-10-19: I've posted a new version of the practice exam where all the answers are A.
  • 2014-10-16: The answers to Assignment 2 are available here.
  • 2014-10-10: I've realised I had the wrong link for yesterday's slides. The correct slides are up now.
  • 2014-10-09: If your interested in doing some exercises to practice programming in Java, try to program any of the ideas on this list. I can give you pointers on how to implement any of those if you're lost.
  • 2014-10-09: Iv'e put another survey up, for Week 6. Please help!. (The results of Week 2 survey are here)
  • 2014-09-30: A student asked in class how arithmetic operations are implemented on a computer; i.e. "Who taught the computer how to add?". This should help you understand how.
  • 2014-09-18: Week 3 Thurday's lecture has been cancelled. We will reschedule this class for another date. I will keep you informed.
  • 2014-09-10: I've put a survey for Week 2, so you can give me some feedback on the course content or my teaching style. I'll try to run these surveys bi-weekly. The time you spend on this will be greatly appreciated!
