Brief Bio
I was born at a very young age in
Vancouver, British Columbia,
Canada, a city known for its mountain vistas and mild, rainy,
weather.
I attended the University of British
Columbia, obtaining BASc and PhD degrees in electrical engineering.
I then moved to Boston,
a city known for beans and
Bruins,
and where the
weather is snowier in winter and more humid in summer than Vancouver.
I became a faculty member in the
Division of Applied Sciences at
Harvard University, associated with the
Harvard Robotics Lab.
After spending 9 years at Harvard I left (click here for the
Veritoast Movie) and joined
Nissan Cambridge Basic Research
. After spending two years with Nissan I returned to Canada,
joining the Department of Electrical Engineering at
McGill University in Montreal.
