Here are some of the more popular places that you might want to visit:

The Biodome

The Biodome The Biodome is an indoor venue that recreates some of the most beautiful ecosystems of the Americas: The Tropical Forest; the Laurentian Forest, changing with the season; the Saint Lawrence Marine ecosystem; and the Polar Worlds of the Arctic and Antarctic. Take metro to Viau.

The Old Port

The Old Port Historic, old stone buildings. It gives you some insight on what Montreal was like two centuries ago. It is small enough to walk around but you could easily spend half a day there. Make sure to visit the Notre Dame Basilica. Celine Dion got married there, but that is not why you should go; it's simply a magnificent place to check out. Visit Place Jacques-Cartier and Saint-Paul Street for souvenir shops and architecture.
